Default Turn signal delay berfore turning on

I've had this issue since I bought the car, and its one of those dumb things I keep forgetting about until I'm driving and it gets annoying.

Like the title states, it takes a good full second from the time I pull the stalk down to the light coming on. I looked around for a quite a while reading up on what it could be and the only thing I can think of is it being the flasher.

Any advice? Thank you

Sorry for not specifying, both. The outside/ dash lights work in unison and both come on delayed.

If you get the same behavior with the headlights on and off AND you don't have the problem with the hazards, then I'd start with the flasher. (The turn signals and hazards have different flashers - so that last point is a good indicator.)

Yep, I have a delay regardless of anything else being on and off and the hazards come on as they should. I will give that a shot, thanks!
