Default Headlight Sensor Disconect?

i want to be able to manually operate my headlights and not have them turn on from the sensor. before i pull my dash apart is there anything i need to know about the dash or secrets to getting it off. all i have to do is unplug the sensor correct?

i hope this is in the right forum...

well there are two ways of doing it, the one that alot of guys on here do is pull the dash up alittle so you can creep your arm to the light sensor right next to the alarm light, and cut the wires then splice them together. the way i did it was pull the radio out so you can reach behind it and there will be a black box with two plugs to your right pull the black box up off its hanger then unplug i think its the left plug, if your turn signals work then its the right plug and just put electrical tape over the connector and leave it hang, then put the radio back in only four screws and pop the radio bezel back on and your done no more automatic headlights and you turn them on when you want.

pull the dash up..it is RIGHT THERE...NO need to remove radio. pull wire connector out...replace with cotter pin or paper clip ..one end in both openings....JUST noticed you have a camaro ....should be in the same place I think.

That's the method I used. Works great. I wanted to ditch the DRLs and the auto headlights.

DRLs suck.
