Default squeaky engine

everytime is rains hard, my engine starts to sqeak. it takes a couple days of drving around to stop it. what can i do to fix this. is there anything i can put on the belt

well you could run the car and with the belt spinning put wax from a candle or crayon or even some soap from a bar of hand soap. just hold it up to the belt. this is a temporary fix of course but it will quiet a squeaky belt.

Some belts are bad and just begin to squeak, and other times that is an indicator that your belt is needing to be replaced. You can spray belt dressing on them, but that's only a temporary fix.
