Default low coolant light

I filled up today and got in the car and turned it on. And the low coolant light came on. I poped the hood and checked the hoses, water pump, tb bypass and i did not see a leak. I checked the over fill stick meter thing and it looked normal under hot condition. Should I wait for the car to cool down and add some coolant through the radiator cap? or add it through the overfill. Need help asap please.

ps when i had my LT1 Z28 i know the sensor crapped out, could that be the same story? or just add some coolant and see if it goes away.

no prob, like i said if you clean it and it doesnt do the trick just unplug it until you can replace it or just leave it off. i routinely check my fluids anyway so its not that important to me...

my car only has 30000 miles on it when I had to replace mine, thats just about the only thing you can do. Good thing is that it only takes 10 minutes to do it!

There's a thread on it around here somewhere with a detailed write up, I think.. pictures and all... or maybe it was cz28, or even shoebox's site.
