Default headlight motor?

first off, yes I know about the brass gear fix. I replaced it with the brass gear and now the entire motor itself isnt working AT ALL, it doesnt even make any noise. It worked for about a week after I replaced it and now it doesnt work at all no noise like its just dead. I checked the fuses and theyre all there and all good. How much do you guys think for a pass side headlight motor? Anywhere I can get one cheap?

after you installed the brass gear, did you tap in the tabs for the motor to gear housing? If not it probably either seperated, or jammed. I have seen both, but if it seperated you would hear some kind of noise.

I replaced my driver and passenger sides with brass gears, and have had no problems with either with over two years of use.

There are four black tabs that secure the motor housing to the gear housing.
