My buddy had a misfire on #6 with his LT's - plug wire was arcing against header. We found it by starting the car in complete darkness and reviing it. Just an idea and something easy...

People also have lean injector problems on the rear
(7, 8) positions which looks to be due to silt collecting
at the dead-end rail positions. If plugs & wires come up
clean then try swapping #8 with #6 injector and see if
the trouble moves.

Default bad spark plug

turns out it was the number 8 plug afterall. though it wasnt badly corroded or chipped or burned. it did have some carbon buildup and a little bit of oil on it. but really nothing that woulndt be on a plug froma car with 80k miles.

what did surprise me was they were densol plugs which i always took to be a high quality/expensive brand. kinda surprised me that my car i got used with 56k miles on it and the 1 owner who had this car before me changed the plugs that soon.

and mother of god whoever did the plug change had the plug WAY TO TIGHT.

people need to learn that tighter isnt always better.. well in terms of cars

Probably never been changed - my car came with Denso PTJ16R15's.
