Default Spring poped around the gas pedal now throttle cable is loose.

I now have to mash the gas pedal as hard as I can to get wot. My gas pedal has droped a little bit, the spring would expalin it. Does any one have a pic to see where originally the spring. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone in the past.

Thanks

I dont recall a spring around the pedal.. the pedal and cable should be free floatinig. its the spring on the throtle body that will keep your pedal up by pulling your throtle cable foward. is your cable kinked anywhere?? does the throtlle body linkage open and close easily with no binding?? deff want to get that fixed, A WOT motor is no fun when your not the one in control anymore, id hate too hear about that pedal not comeing back up,

no kinks here. A spring poped a fell down on the floor board and then the gas pedal was dropped down a bit. The tb works like a charm. If about an inch of the cable was removed then the pedal would be where it needs too.
