whining speaker

whining speaker whenever i get into the powerband on accel, i get a whining from my rear passenger speaker. whats up with it? alternator going bad could cause it? cause my alt bearings and brushes are bad.

check your plug wires, i bet ur getting frequency crossover. does the whine get faster as the motor revs higher? If you havent replaced ur wires in a while, i would try that.

I would like to know also. I replaced my alternator today and the noise is gone thank God. Did u have any electric problems? Like when I would turn on my brights, my radio would cut off.
