Nope it wont hold, go to the dealer and order the right one.

The duct tape will not keep the moisture out of the system, so basically you are going to allow water into the system over time and that will cause the fluid to become able to boil at a lower tempature point, allows rust to start forming in the system.

Go spend the $5 and buy the cap and inside seal.

Brake fluid is a hydroscopic fluid; moisture on metal lines isn’t a good thing. Get a new cap and I would bleed the system to get new fluid in there to help get all the moisture out.

so u think i should bleed the system? right after i noticed that the cap was missing u put layer after layer after layer of duct tape around the opening...

the car sat over night and it got a little moist outside but i live in sacramento, CA...didnt rain, snow, or anything and first thing in the morning i took it to kragen and picked up a sealed cap....

i dont have alot of time in the world but if you guys seriously suggest that i bleed em then i will??????
