I'm stumped!!!
Today at lunch my car decides to just die. Cruising to get a parking spot and the car just turns off. No stumbling, no low rpm, no bucking, was at 1700rpm and just BLAHHHH. I had just done a spark plug change on Sat. Car was running fine. Car wants to fire, but doesn't. Maybe bad wires, nope...replaced with another set= nothing. Replaced battery with a brand new one= nothing. Removed alternator and went to Autozone, nothing wrong with alternator= still nothing. Went and got a fuel pressure gauge, 60psi= still nothing. Check grounds behind head, tight as hell= nothing. Tow the sucker home and run a scan= no codes......... What else could I check?????????

Sounds like a fuel pump relay as stated above. Does it start up for a brief second and then die or does it just turn over and nothing fires at all? I had the fuel pump relay go out on 99 grand prix and it just died. I was parked and the engine was running fine and then it just died. It would fire up for a quick second and then die out. Luckily I was parked as it happens to a lot of people at stoplights and while they are moving. Hopefully this gives you something else to check. I'm not sure where it is located on these cars but it was behind the front right quarter panel in the grand prix.
