Default Does your Firebird have bugs in it's rear?

Well I've been trying to track down a cricket like chirp in my car. I noticed when I put the LED reverse bulbs back into my taillights my passenger taillight was squeaking a lot. I had my dad wiggle the taillight when I sat in the car and it sounded like it.

So I looked closer to the taillight and found out where the filler panel (the part between the driver and passenger taillights) and the passenger taillight bolts meet was plastic to plastic. I put pieces of paper towel around the two bolts on the taillight and took it for a drive. No more chirps!

So hopefully this info may help some people!

When that paper towel wears out, replace it with some felt. You can get sheets of it that you can cut to fit.

Well the paper towel I used is actually nylon based, really strong stuff. I will probably never have to replace it.
