Default what kinda oil

well I have been using the german castrol 0-30 for about 2yrs now but now I can't find it anywhere in town.. Used to be able to go to anyone of the three autozones here and grab it but they all stopped stocking it...

first off any place to order the german castrol??? if not what else ... Was thinking of going to AMS or royal purple

thanks
dave

depending on how far away other autozone's are in your area they could "transfer" some in you'd just have to ask them or shoot me a PM and i can see what i can find out for you just need your location

I used nothing but Royal Purple (5W-30) in my old Z. No issues, very pleased

I use Mobil1 synthetic (also 5W-30) in the SS, only because I bought the car from the original owner and that is all he used so I just want to keep it consistant. Again, no issues, very pleased.

I have seen a couple of magazine articles were they claimed ~5 hp gains from using all Royal Purple fluids (oil, coolant, differential, etc.) but I really don't think it is going to make much difference.

Really all you need is a good, trusted synthetic oil
