Default got a problem, car wont start...(click click)

ok, i turned my car on, let it sit for about 10 mins. warmed up. then i turned it off. then about 20 seconds later, i wanted to turn it back on, an nothing, click click click.

so. i figure battery, i go check the cables, they are tight, so i check the car nothing, click click click, i removed battery, took it to get checked, has charge (4 months old at the most) so, i get home, put it back on the car, try it, and nothing, click click click.

radio, lights, everything works, cept the damn car (so then its not everything huh?)

i tried to put the jumper cables from my blazer to the camaro and still nothing, just click click click....

anyways, i noticed the battery cables are a little tight from where they are coming from the bottom. think i pulled to hard and it came lose from the starter/ground? if so, will it click click click as im describing?

any help is appreciated please, i need it tunneeeeed

try jumping the two term on the starter from the large batt+ to the smaller one (purple wire), That will test and take the wiring harness (from ing) out of the picture.

if it doesn't turn over.. take the start out and down to the local Autozone, Kragen, part store, etc and have them test both the start and solenoid.

Might be a bad solenoid ?

The solenoid is on the side of the starter, it's just a soup'd up relay.

Big power wire comes in one side, and goes out on the other side to the starter motor. The solenoid receives a small charge (small wire) and tells the solenoid to CLICK and connect the main power together.

Sounds like your starter may be smoked. You could probably find a local alternator/starter shop and have them test it/fix it.

yea that would be your vats.My friends had similar problems it turned to to be that the starter is getting to hot because the headers are too close to it so he got a new started and problem solved.
