stripped bolt on the ac condenser
took my 01 Z28 apart yesterday so i could replace my a/c condenser.
did all that work just to find that the bolt on the condenser i'm trying to put into my car, is stripped. it is the bolt on the bottom passenger side that holds the condenser in. grrr!!!! anyone know how to remove stripped bolts? i've tried vice grips, and it doesn't budge. any suggestions?

If the bolt is in the hole and the head is still on it, spray it with PB Blaster. It may take a few hours of soaking in there (maybe even a day) to loosen up. I'd spray it again every half hour until it comes loose. If that doesn't work, try heating it up with a torch. If you loose the head, you'll have to drill it out.

I think he means the head is rounded. Couple options that might work.
Cut a notch in it and use a screwdriver (impact driver works well). Pipe wrench. Vise grips. Heat and PB as said above. Hammer the next smaller size socket on it. Worse comes to worse you'll have to drill it out or grind the head off.
