Default General Car Question - not lsx based

My grandprix just rolled over 150,000 miles. I want to do a full tune-up and am making a list of all the things I'm going to do/check let me know if there is anything else you'd check/do at this point to help this car reach 200k or 300k or a million miles!! lol

Changed oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, plugs, wires, new battery, new alt, checked water pump no leaks, changed brakes and two rotors up front, rear bakes new,
getting ready to do new tires -
Whats the best highway tires? no noise smooth ride, track performance NOT an issue.

Should I flush the radiator? Transmission fluid? I'm going to check all the grease fittings and such, anything else that needs to be addressed while I'm tune'n 'er up?

Imo seafoam works wonders.
You will be amazed at how much smoother it idles/accells after you do it.

if it is a 3800 series II then i would replace the intake plenum, if it hasn't been replaced already. I was planning on my lesabre lasting for 5 more years but one day the plenum filled with coolant and f'd my engine up bad. It is a common problem on those engines and could go anytime. there are two coolant passages where the egr enters the plenum and since the steel and extremly hot egr tube makes contact with the plastic plenum it eventually melts enough to expose the coolant passage. I wish i would have changed mine but live and learn I guess. the new plenums use a smaller egr tube that doesn't make contact.

You aren't going to be replacing the injectors unless if you want to break the bank.

Definetly go for a trans flush and coolant flush. Check into new O2s.

On low rolling resistance tyres you can get them. They do help, though. Look into them or just a regular high milage tyre! Generally higher speed models are going to be softer and waste more fuel.
