brake lights staying on

hey guys, im having a problem with my brake lights staying on.. i have tried to adjust the switch, but nothing is working, i assume i need to get a new switch, but how does it come out?

It's threaded into the pedal assembly, should be able to disconnect the wiring and unscrew the switch.

thanks, i couldnt figure out how to hell to get that damn wire off, so i just pulled the switch out
