Water Leak????? While i am driving my car makes a real bad tapping noise, almost sounds like a loose rocker arm or something. Then when i let off the gas it just backfires constentely. Also i have water leaking in from somewhere onto my carpet and i don't know if that has something to do with this noise. Any HELP????

you may have broken a spring. Pull the valve covers and see what can find. As far as the water leak, does it smell like anti-freeze or do you have a haze on the inside of the windshield? If so your heater core needs to be replaced
