Rear defroster detached from Window, how to reattach?
Had my car a couple weeks now, noticed the rear defroster wasn't working. The light would come on but nothing would happen. I popped the hatch and noticed that the piece which mounts to the glass is entirely detached. How can I go about reattaching this piece?

The repair kit will resolve individual lines that are out. If the lead wire has come off completely it will need to be soldered back on.
GM calls for taking out the defogger fuse, cleaning the contacts, using a rosin flux paste on the surfaces, and then soldering the connection with solder containing 3% silver.

Yea, that piece is soldered to the bus bar on the window. The metal clip should come out of the black plastic socket and can then be re-soldered to the window. All of the rust and oxidation will need to be taken off with steel wool before re-soldering and you'll need a large solder gun. (A soldering iron won't get the job done - the metal clip will absorb too much heat.)
If you aren't comfortable with doing the re-solder, you might call a auto glass company. I'd expect they have the tools and are used to doing this kind of repair.
