Default exhaust question

im a little new to the ls1 thing but im wondering is there anyone out that makes a off road y pipe to fit and retain the factory exhaust manifolds. just wondering if a yes or no.. if not then what would be some good headers to go with not costly and a ory as well. and it has a slp catback already to.

There are a couple, bassani is one of them i know that makes a y-pipe that bolts up to your stock manifolds getting rid of you cats. But if your wanting a headers Pacesetter, edelbrock, and BBK all have headers with ORY in the $500 range.

Full exhaust (Headers,Y or X pipe, catback) are BIG improvements for our cars and make a big difference. If I buy headers it will be longtubes.

SLP makes an off road y pipe that will connect directly to your factory manifolds.

If you dont plan on doing headers at all this may be ok If you have the newer cast Manifolds, But if you have the older ones I wouldn't waste your time. Buy a set of cheap headers and ypipe, you will be much happier.
