Default ARH Exhaust

I have done my research and Im going with ARH headers and y-pipe - 3" exit. I want the exhaust to finish out the back of my SS with the center exhaust tip that is on there. Any systems that offer that or just pick a muffler and go?

The ARH Y-pipe will work with your current exhaust.

Like toothdoc said it will work. As long as you are still going with a Y pipe, from there back will be the same, unless you put a different exhaust on. I love the CME and your white makes it look awesome. What exhaust do you have on it right now?? Good luck.

Looks like you already have a SLP dual/dual muffler. I'd stick with that. Just put an electric cutout in the I-pipe so you can make some real noise if you get the itch.

I plan on changing the muffler out on it and going with the Y-pipe from ARH and 1 7/8 LTs.
It has a cutout that I leave open by the back axle but it just has the drone to it since it is my DD. Just want to have it come out the back and put the electronic cutout on it to use when someone pulls up and feels lucky. Going to be getting the Stage 2.5 5.3L from TSP with the MS3 cam with this exhaust during the summer.

What muffler are you planning on going with? I would really recommend keeping the dual/dual. It flows quite well and should sound great once you do h/c. Its nice to be able to have a quiet car when you want to.

Yea it has the dual/dual on it. Should say "had" since it is not there anymore. Was going for a new look without the CME and muffler and decided I didnt like the look. Sound is GREAT but since Im redoing the entire system I was looking into the American Thunder by Flowmaster to finish it off. Granted I will still have the CME on there when all is said and done.

If you are spending the money on the ARH headers, make sure you put a stainless exhaust on there. I don't know if the Flowmaster comes in stainless.

Do a search on the site. The subject has been discussed quite a bit. I like my SLP DD because it gives me a quieter sound but I can make it plenty loud for my taste if I so desire.

Yeah man, hooking up AR headers to a flowmaster catback would be a crime. Go with a stainless system like GMMG, Corsa, etc.
