Default 2.25 or 2.5?

i am in the process of droping a 5.3 into my s10 with ls1 cam, ls6 intake manifold, sanderson shortys...i was told i should run 2.25 if i was to run true duals...i ordered the 2.25 magnaflow x pipe and 2.25 dual in dual magnaflow muffler...do you think this enough flow? or should i send those back and run the 2.5?

2.25 tube flows enough for 243rwhp using the 2.2cfm per hp rule of thumb

I think if you ever plan on going FI or nitrous then I would feel better about 2.5" duals.

I'd go 2.5" if I were you, especially if you plan on future mods.

Two 2.25 inch pipes have roughly the same area as one single 3 inch pipe. There are people who make a ton of power with a single 3 inch catback.
