Default headers for a 408

i need to get LT headers for the 408 im building. would 1 7/8" be better for this setup? i dont want to get too expensive of headers just something that fits well, performs well and doesnt rot away on me. I wont be driving this in the snow or rain. def not snow but maybe rain if I HAVE to. pacesetters seem pretty cheap but i havnt heard good things about them. TSP's 1 7/8" coated LT headers seem pretty good to me. What do you guys think?

you can't beat that price for a nice set of 1 7/8" headers. I've heard lots of good feedback on those too. If you already had 1 3/4" headers i would say don't waste your money and just reuse them, but since you need to buy some anyway just get the 1 7/8".

1 7/8" is a good choice. Spend the extra and have them coated. Is is worth every penny.

I've got AR 1 7/8 headers..... they fit great and they tuck up nice if you are lowered.... The TSP headers are low....

Kook's or ARH 1 7/8 SS would be the better choice in IMO. Spend the money on a nice set now and you won't regret it later.

If you're on a budget the TSP 1 7/8" are going to be very hard to beat bang for your buck! They have alot of great feedback on fitment and quality. The only times we've heard it reported of too tight clearance between the header and steering shaft is when you've got saggy engine mounts.

We also offer the Kooks line-up of 1 7/8", 2", and stepped headers at competitive prices. Their reputation is second to none and you can't go wrong with their headers either!

Let us know if we can help
