Underdrive Pulley Kit
I was wondering what some of you would recommend for a good under drive crank pulley. I know I could have searched it, but I just dont have the time right now. Also, does anyone know of somewhere that sales it as a kit, that is with the pulley, belts, and a new bolt?

Most every supplier will sell it as a kit.
There are a few different brands, & all do the same thing.
One feature of the SLP is the high retaining walls, to reduce throwing the belts.
SLP, ASP, ATI, ...
Pick up one of the tools in the Tool forum also, as it will help make it easier to install.
As mentioned above, a new bolt is a must because of the stretch that comes from the torque needed to tighten it.

Not recommended for autos with a taxing sound system. M6 and no subs and I haven't had a problem with my ASP 25% UDP, the lights don't even dim when it's at idle

random question - do people recommend UD pulleys for cars that are daily driven with a/c and stereo and the like on? I know when I was doing 4 cylinders that they didn't recommend it if you wanted to use your accessories.

I DD mine and have the stock stereo blaring with AC/heat on all the time, no problems. I hear that people with an amp notice a drain on the battery when the car is at idle, but I don't have any experanice with anything other than stock stereo.

Wow, thanks for all the input everyone, I really appreciate it. I plan on ordering one this weekend, i need to get a 160 degree thermostat as well, and i have another question. I believe the only way to adjust the temp that fans kick on at is through the computer. I plan on getting a new tune before the Texas Mile but Houston is 2hrs from my house. If i put the thermostat in at my house would there be a problem driving it for a little while. I understand the fans wont come on till 210 but all that would happen would be the thermostat would be open the entire time. Anyway sorry for the long post.
Also, what should i put on the new crank bolt when i install it, Never cease?

how come a majority of people on here are using the 10% ud over the 25% ud when the 25% gets more gain??? so if i chose to get a ud im better of with a 25%??car is 00 ss m6 with no power options what so ever

10% is what ATI recommeds, even on their 25% the a/c is still 10% if that helps at all. Call ATI direct as well for better information and correct usage.
They don't see an issue with the 10% UD for s/c useage either unless your boosting over 30#'s is what the tech said. Pro-Charger recommends the kit with the stock size pulley in it and the pinning kit.. ATI says the 10% is fine and the pinning kit. (spent a lot of time with them on the phone to make sure I wa offering the best pulley for 98% of the people)
