Default People With Pacesetters...

I am installing them this week. I have a couple questions before I start. What about the 2 things, one on each side that plugs into the manifold and has a triangle shape? The Pacesetters dont have those on there so do they just get left alone once I install these? Also I dont understand the white wire it comes with or how thats supposed to work. Let me know.

Thanks

I didn't use the white wire.
I had y pipe to I pipe fitment issues. I had to get a reducer put on. I have a 3" exh and the Y was a funky size 3.25" I think

THe two triangle things are from the AIR system. If your Pacesetters didn't come with those then you obviously can't connect them. The AIR system is for emissions only. YOu should call whoever you got the headers from and tell them that you need the headers with the AIR fittings.

I don't think the a.i.r system robs any power but I could be mistaken. It's mainly there just for emissions. I know a lot of people remove this system altogether for ~8 lbs. or so of weight savings, so if you don't have to deal with a strict visual inspection then go for it. I'd try a search on a.i.r removal and see what you can find

Only gains I saw by removing the AIR system was ROOM and little weight off the front (pump).

The a.i.r. system is only running like the first 3 or 5 min the car is on. helps heat the cats up fast. The bet gain by roemoving it is just sitting there crapping up the engine bay and also takes up a fair amount of space. It looks much better with out that junk.

Got any pictures online yet H b K l U n A of these yet?

Sounds like you got the headers without emissions.
