H/C car, 11.1 cr, Plugs ?
I will be adding a set of TSP 5.3 heads to my car in the near future, I already have a 228r 112lsa cam. The heads will be milled to give me a CR of 11:1, my question is that I already have a new set of Tr55 IX plugs for the install, will these plugs be OK. The car will never see nitrous. I would like to keep the iridiums, but if I need to get a colder plug(TR-6) I will. Thanks for any reply`s

Thanks for the reply! That is what I have been hearing, maybe I will sell my plugs to Carlos so he can replace his plugs when he installs his new headers. They should work fine for him, with just bolt ons and exhaust.

I'm @ 11.1:1 compression, mods in sig are similar to yours. I'm running TR55's with no problems & have been for over a year. Tune probably has a lot to do with it. TR6's for safety are not a bad idea, but I think the TR55's are OK. just my $0.02
