Most choose a catback based on sound siince the majority of them will give you similar gains. Aside from flowmaster, which doesn't seem to make much power, you pretty much can't go wrong. Hooker makes a nice unit at an affordable price

Flowmaster makes you slower. It sounds nice, but it does not give ANY power, it reduces it.

SLP Loudmouth 349.95 from SLP sounds great as long as you keep the CATS.

You could keep that cats, but just gut them. The loudmouth with gutted cats sounds awesome.

If you are going to gut/remove the cats then you might want to get a catback with some type of a muffler. I have longtube headers, no cats, 3 inch y-pipe and SLP Loudmouth catback. The car is REALLY LOUD! I like the sound for the most part but I do get a REALLY nasty RASP at low RPMs. At wide open throttle is sounds like a NASCAR racecar! If you get the Loudmouth you can swap out the resonator in the intermediate pipe for a bullet style muffler(most guys go with a dynomax muffler or a Borla XR1 bullet muffler, they are close to the same size as the resonator). I like the Loudmouth for the weight savings, but I plan to replace it soon. I would get a SLP Dual Dual, CORSA, HOOKER, GMMG, or a custom true dual set-up if I were you. I am going with a DUal Dual and a cutout.

Just the Magnaflow sounds GREAT! It's not too loud until you get on. And when it starts to come up to the higher RPM range its AWESOME!
Just My 2 cents

We also have a Corsa and have had no problem with it at all. It has a nice deep gurgle mellow sound, and its slightly louder than the magnaflows.

Go for what sounds best to you. I prefer Borla or GMMG, but both cost $$$$. Hooker seems good for the money. Had a loudmouth dual dual on my formula ws6, sounded awesome. Gut the cats and do the dynomouth mod, you'll love that setup for lots less then Borla or GMMG. Its all about personal preference tho bro.

I like my Hooker catback. Goes well with the Jet-Hot headers and ORP.

On a stock car, the SLP Loudmouth is the way to go.

cant go wrong but I wouldnt do loudmouth if you have a cutout, kinda defeats the purpose of it. I have hooker w/ a coutout and like it very much. Loud or muffled, whatever I feel like

This is true. I have this with LT's and ORY and it sounds great. It also had a very throaty muscular sound prior to the LT's and ORY. I'll be pulling mine off soon to go with duals. I'm willing to sell it cheap. Email jeffharmon70@hotmail.com if interested.
