How much of an advantage are the long tube headers over the shorty's

shorties dont flow much better than stock manifolds.

the reasons some people use shorties over LT's are either long tubes are illegal where they live (emission laws),or they are worried about ground clearance

Im thinkin of getting midlengths. They flow alot better than shorties but still dont flow as good as LT's. Ive only heard good things about macs.

You won't have any problems with emissions as long as you keep your cats on. Only problem with inspections are the visual inspections they do. LT's compared to shorty's are like night and day.

yup, get Lt's or at least mids, dont waste money on shorties
