I don't know if they are any more durable but I tried some Denso's and they did not like my LT's at all. I had insufficient switching codes even in the summer. I have had better luck with the Delphi O2's on my car.

My stock 02 sensors lasted 138,000 miles with LT headers and I replaced them with two more GM sensors and they are working great too. The two new GM 02 sensors looked just like the orginal equipment sensors that came on the car. They were not the new style pictured above.

So are people seeing quicker switching from the 'new' GM O2 sensors with longtubes?

I like the new ones, I'm glad they switched. They are also (slightly) cheaper, but not much.
