Why not use the Hooker Y-pipe?

i doubt you'll gain any noticle difference from swapping out y-pipes. just stick with the hooker and spend the 300 on some other mods.

If you are making maga hp I would go with the Mufflex. It's got to flow better than the Hooker. Having two pipes welded together is not a collector. I would even venture to say there is a lot of weld and weld slag and sharp edges inside that joint too. Not good for flow.

Are you sure the QTP Y is stainless? When I asked them for a stainless Y they said nobody makes them. I believe Muflex makes the Y's sold by QTP also. Larry is right, two pipes welded together is not a Y collector. Look for Y pipes that have a collector like the Flowmaster one.
