Default American Racing 2" or Kooks 2' Racing Headers

I'm looking for any info on both of these headers. Like as in Fitment, Finish, Quality and also if they will fit up to the Texas Speed Rumbler X True Duals.
Car is a 99 WS6 Trans Am. Will be an LSX iron block with All PRO LSW heads.

Any info will be very much appreciated.

a lot of it will come down to the merge collector. Both are great headers, seems like a lot of people have been using the AR headers recently and making great power.

How big of a motor are you building to need 2 inch exhaust ??

I have 1 7/8 American Racing Headers, and they work perfect on my 402. Fit and finish was exceptional, so I'll infer the ARH 2 inch stuff should be the same level of quality.

Can't fault you for going to him. Erik turns out some very nice motors.

What kind of hp/tq are you shooting for or expecting ??

What h/c and intake will you be using? Looks like the 2 inch ARH is going to be the source of headers !!!

Shooting for 625rwhp and up. Head are the All PRO LSW's with Titanium Intake and Hollow Stem Exhaust believe we are going with the 58cc version running with a 11.5/1 compression. The Cam is yet to be determined, but it is going to be a solid roller. First thing we had done was Bronze Lifter Bushing installed so I could run Morel LS1 Solid Roller Lifters .903 Link Bars. Erik has given me an idea of what cam hes thinking which is a Custom HKE CAM Solid Roller 255 / 280 / 110+2 / .750lift, but that is just a round about cam for now when we get closer to the end of the build that's when we'll set one in stone. Almost forgot about the intake lol. I've been following the new FAST LSXR and we'll be waiting to see more results. From what I read on one forum when they up the injectors to 60# (which I had planned to do anyway) they got some pretty good results, but time will tell.

Are you going to drive this on the street?
I am having a LS7 440 built with those heads (ALL PRO LSW by WCCH) and i plan on making at the minimum of 625rwhp with a 12.5:1 on 93 and a much milder cam.
You do not need half that **** to achieve 625rwhp, even if it will be on the street.

EDIT: Those ALL PRO LSW by WCCH flow massive air, and i think your intake would be the restriction for sure...

As far as intake talk to Erik about it, he ported my LS7 and said there was a lot to take out and they flow decent from the factory to begin with. He can hook you up with a Beck as well. My 457 should be hitting the roller here in about 4 weeks so it will give you an idea of the intake limitations. Close to the same setup as you, WCCH AP LSW's, I went with the Pro Series Morel hydraulic though. Cam is of course different but we were shooting for 650 so we'll see. It's through a heavy twin disk, 9" and heavy wheels.

It's going to be a weekend warrior type thing. I live 20mins from Houston Raceway Park and that is where Ill be spending most of my time. With the Hp rating expectation I'm probably on the modest side with this setup. I'm not one to try and boast about numbers. The dyno will tell the tale when the time comes. Still have a long way to go Transmission is next followed by a Moser M9 or Strange S60 with suspension upgrade of course ( Some for the front when I initially install the motor such as Control Arms, K-Member, Solid Motor mounts)
