Do i HAVE to purchase a skip shift eliminator???

Default Do i HAVE to purchase a skip shift eliminator???

Just wondering, do I have to purchase the one from Summit to get rid of the skip shift? Or is there another way???

Check out eBay for "skip shift eliminator" or "CAGS eliminator" for cheaper ones. There is a way to make your own for less $$ but it's kinda a hack job vs just spending like $15. You can also get it tuned out of the computer but that costs a lot more money unless you've got hookups

You can either run a resistor from Radio Shack or just unplug the solenoid
