will truck coils work on a car engine?

I hardly see any LS1/LS6 car coils being sold, and when they do, they are over $100. I see plenty of truck coils being sold for $60 and under. Can you use truck coils/brackets on a car engine? One would think there is no real difference, but it is best to ask i suppose. Maybe the truck coils are bigger, do they fit under corvette fuel rail covers?

Yes the truck coils will work on a car engine. And the truck coils clear the FRCs....

i actually just finished reading a guys thread about using stock replacement 6.0 coils and he gained 10hp on the dyno! and he said they went on easy in about 10 min

Just be sure to get the truck length plug wires.

yup they work. you need to masage the drivers side into place b/c the fuel line is in the way.

Also The Alechemist jsut put on truck coils and said his MSD wires worked perfectly
