LS6 MAF and ported TB.
So I know that I am going to do both of these. Will the car run if I just plug in the LS6 MAF? I know I'll need to get it tuned, but will the car run if I do them both on the stock tune? Just wondering before I do it and can't get to the dyno. lol

I have no clue about the stock tune. I swapped an ls6 intake onto my car after it had been tuned with a stock ls1 intake. Definitely required a re-tune. I was running right on the edge of the IDC (injector duty cycle) prior to the intake swap (94%-96%). Post intake swap injectors would hit 112% in 3rd gear at 5200rpm. Quite a bit difference in flow from ls1 to ls6 intake. To sum this up, I'd get a tune.

Car will run pig rich and set a system rich code, from
the MAF swap. It will run but it won't be real happy.
The low end is less bothered by it, so you can baby
it along to the tuner shop if you have to. But might
be best to make that trip with the old MAF in place
and the new one in the trunk.
