...I had no idea how much of a difference just LT's and a catted y-pipe would make.
Had G-Force order me a set of Kooks with the y-pipe and had them installed yesterday. Driving around I was amazed at the difference from stock manifolds. I KNEW there was going to be improvement but not to this extent. Normal driving is actually more quiet than I thought and WOT is louder than I was anticipating as well.
Kooks LT's + catted y pipe + Magnaflow CB = win!

I had a certain amount of expectation after researching my setup the last couple fo years but I didn't think it was going to be THIS much of a difference.
Stock dyno - 309hp 334tq
After install dyno - 333hp 346tq
Not a HUGE jump but a significant one that has immediate payback. Best money I've spent yet on mods. I can't wait for the LS6 heads + cam next year!

I did mine over winter so by the time I got the car out in the spring it felt like a rocket anyway, but when i hit the dyno with it on the stock tune I gained 30lbs/ft of torque to the tires...as for the sound goes mine always had a SLP LM1 catback so it's realy loud even with stock manifolds and cats but it does have a way better sound at WOT.

So I'm driving around today, go through a parking lot at a store and the engine starts going below 500 rpm as I'm turning. It did it a couple of times going in and out of the parking lot. The engine did get a tune to go with the LT's and Y-pipe. Is this just a matter of the engine still getting a feel for the new setup?

Well, today at least the engine didn't stumble but it did sort of hesitate once when I started it. Other than that it ran like a (ZZ) Top!
One thing that really bugged me was the damn banging and scrapping when driving slow and making turns. I took it in to the shop that I used manage and had the guys there eyeball it. By making some small adjustments in the alignment of the exhaust system, mainly from the transmission area back, they elminated about 85% of the noise. I still have a little grinding noise in the bellhousing area but I can live with that for now. Some pics of the underside:

i drove my car for about 6 months before i got my hptuners and i never had those issues. it took the computer like 10 minutes of idling and one drive out to learn.
my exhaust does rub on my floor a lot but id rather that then it drag on the ground since im lowered so much .lol.
we have the exact setup except mine isnt kooks and i LOVE the way it sounds
