Default muffler question

What is one of the best sounding after axel mufflers?

They way I have my TD's ran the mufflers are after the axel.

I have dynomax bullet's on it now and I don't think it sounds good at all and it is not that loud. I want something louder.

Thanks!

Look into some Hooker Aerochambers. People seem to like those. If noise isn't an issue, i like the spintech sound.

Ice78Transam im not to fond of the aerochambers, ill have to look into the spintech.

SS4Luck I was thinking about the 1 chambers but I wish I could hear it on my car before I paid that much for those and end up not liking them. Would it hurt my engine running a straight pipe? I have a H-pipe also.

Straight pipes sound rough in my opinion, on almost any car.

there is a guy on here with an h pipe and single chamber flowmasters,
sounds great, he has a bored out motor which changes the displacement but the car sounds wicked.
there are plenty of single chamber flowmaster true dual clips to find, you wont be disappointed.

I have never heard a straight piped car that sounded good. I personally would run some type of muffler. The hookers do sound good.

You should check into Magnaflow Magnapacks... They are a bullet style muffler... They sound very good... The part number on them is 14416....

I am still debating over the 1 chambers or SLP LM1's. I want that loud aggresive sound. Thanks for all the help.

Both should give you plenty of "wake up the dead"

now thats what im talking about. If I just cut the bullets off would it sound like the LM1's? It would be a cheaper alternative.

Instead of making another thread I will just ask on this one again. If I were to cut the bullets off my TD's would it sound similar to having slp loudmouth's in place of the bullets. Since my mufflers are behind the axel I didn't think it would make a big difference if I just had straight pipe? Thanks!
