Exclamation CERAMIC HEADERS AND 02's

I'm at a critical point here. I'm installing Ceramic lt's and i keep hearing about the 02 sensors burning out. Someone told me to let the car run without the front 02s in so that the material on the inside can burn out, so it doesnt burn up the o2 sensors. Is this valid? true? anyone? I dont want to have to buy new o2's!

I just swapped to ceramic coated headers 2 months ago and my 02's are fine. I have never heard of anyones 02's burning out because of that.

Some headers are coated inside as well, you would
think that the bake in production would take care
of outgassing.

I got my Jet-Hots used but have not had to change
the sensors in the several years since.

However simply switching to long tubes is likely to
show you any shortcomings in the present O2s and
most likely need some codes killed.
