Default Can you run a cutout in the I-pipe with an SLP style muffler?

I've searched here and elsewhere and no one has any photos of this.

Is it possible to run a single exhaust cutout (with an electric cutout in the future) in the I-pipe right before the resonator (I have an slp but plan to switch to moroso around the same time)?

Would I have to run duals cutouts in the headers instead?

Thanks!

I'm sorry if this is a millionth repost sort of thing, but I haven't seen it anywhere.

That's how mine is set up (SPL CME cat-back, cutout
in the I).

Cutout in the I will be minimally helpful if you have
cats upstream, though.

I do not have cats. I'm pacesetter LT's, ORY, SLP1.

Do you think this will work? I noticed the I pipe is bent to go from the y to the resonator. Obviously the cut out cannot bend that way, so what do i do?

Don't use a cutout I have the same setup and it's loud as it is! But it's up to you a guy told me at QTP that it wouldn't be of any help on my setup. Just my 2 cents.

What do you mean? Horsepower wise?

I'm going to put the moroso spiral flow muffler on, people told me it would quiet it down. I'm actually looking for quiet. I want to have the quiet/very loud option.

if u want it for sound then do it. if u have an exhaust that gflows really well it wont help with power.

i have headers, dual cutouts, dual in single out cat as my y and a stock style muffler. i really only close it for conversations or cops.

i love it loud but need the silence sometimes

I'm doing this purely for sound and would like to avoid purchasing anything more than the muffler and cutout. If i have to do duals I will, but I'd rather just do 1.

Anyone have any pics of their setup that would work with an slp style resonator?
