question about ls1 to ls6

Default question about ls1 to ls6

so im suppose to be pickin up and ls6 intake and the throttle body is still on that intake..... when i take off the ls1 intake and change... the guy im buying it from said that he dont think the throttle body is the same and that i need to use the throttle body that is on the ls6 intake
is this true do i have to use the throttle body that is on the ls6 intake?
is one better than the other?

The intake will go right on your car, I don't know if you are a Corvette or Camaro. If your a Corvette tehn it will work but if your a Camaro then bolt your stock throttle body on the intake.

its in a mustang.... but it did come out of a camaro
so my stock throttle body is better than the one on the ls6 intake?

If the ls6 intake is off of a vette you will have to switch it as the vettes have drive by wire TBs. If not, I believe it doesn't matter which one you use, I'd go with which ever had the least miles/in best condition. I would def. port which ever tb you go with, takes like 30 mins and is extremely easy, I've done it to both my of ls powered cars.
