Default Y-Pipe question, LT1 y-pipe on LS1 car?

OK, I ordered my long tubes and have my magnaflow cat-back and cut out on, but the cat-back I bought (used) came with a y-pipe for an LT1 car. I have been looking at pics of LS1 vs LT1 y-pipes and have not seen much difference. I have also searched on here to see if it was possible but have come up empty-handed. Can I use an LT1 y-pipe on an LS1 car? I'm ok with a little modifying but do not want to have to rebuild the whole thing.

It would depend on what headers you have and what headers the Y was made for. I would think with some fab work you could make just about any Y-pipe work. I was told by Edelbrock that their Y-pipe works on LT1 and LS1 race/slip on collector headers. Good luck,

Larry
