Man, this is a hard one for anyone to answer. Its your car, so do some research and try to figure out what you want out of your car. Some people like big cams and some like smaller cams.

I won't have any track numbers till probably next weekend cause its been too cold out here. Drivability is good, but that's because I have a really good tuner. It pulls hard as hell and really fun to drive. I've heard a lot of good out of the MS4 and I had the TRex in my car for about a week, but that didn't work out too well for me. But a lot of people like it. These are both pretty big cams though.

TRex is the biggest you can go on stock heads. I can't remember the exact specs but I think they are 242/248 608/612 on a 110 lsa. Any bigger than that and you are going to run into some PTV clearance problems, if that's what you mean by "overcamming"

I've never done a mail order tune so I can't help you on that one. I have heard good and bad from them though. I, personally, would find a good tuner around town. But that is all up to you. Call someone at Texas Speed or Thunder. They can give you all the info you are looking for. I dealt with Shane and John over at Thunder, and they are really good at helping people with questions like you have.

You want to go mid 12s? Your car should be capable of that as it sits with some slicks.

I am cam only with the Texas Speed Torquer2 (232/234 595/598) and went 11.83 @ 116.

You're buddy might not have the driving skill you have.

I can't complain about the Torquer 2 in any way. I daily drove it for quite awhile. Good manners, still got decent gas mileage, and made good power.

I always recommend them. ASP makes a nice one that is SFI certified.
