it is very simple. wouldnt take me 2 minutes.
i've had it go bad before and it never caused an engine light.
there is a hose coming from the throttle body on the passenger side, that runs to the valve cover. if u look more towards the throttle cable arm it is a silver cylinder in the hose. all u do is pull it out, put new one in
that is a picture of pcv valve. that hose is from the valve cover, the open side is to throttle body

Not sure what the code is yet. I will have to get a code reader and let ya know. I had problems with my egr about a year or so ago, and was reading up on a few parts that need to be replaced. She has 144xxx miles so i figured it could be the pcv or o2 sensor.
