Default cam an intake

hey am goin with the trex cam from thunderracing.com an thinking bot the fast 92mm intake an the nw throttle body 92mm also does anyone run this setup i have a buddy whos does but is the intake wort the money?

That depends on who you ask If you decide to get one though definitely get one used. Unported it will make 10-12 over an LS6 so that is your decision.

that not alot of hp gain over stock for over 11oo dollars

not when you just compare the two but if you were to add a bigger Cam and ever do anything to the motor it will help alot. Its not just hp numbers you have to look at its airflow too..

Expensive intake but the best on the market. Mostly due to its porting capability.

thanks guy an what would u all think bot goin with a kit that make the ls1 a carb. an intake not fuel injection the 7118 - Edelbrock Performer RPM Chevrolet LS1 Carbureted Intake Manifold Kit ? what what type of power would i gain over the stock intake?

ok an not doing the carb intake lol. ok new question would u guy pick a stock ls6 intake are the stock fast 92mm intake to put on a ls1 with just a cam, push rods,springs (gold), an a good trun? what would u all do an would the fast give me the exta i would want for the exta money that i would be handing over (400-600) more dollars for fast.

If I had the money I would go with the Fast 92. It allows for more airflow. With just a Cam though you could probably get away with just the LS6 intake on account they are good to like 500hp. So at the moment if it was me I would get the LS6 intake and then put the money towards something else and then if you ever get different heads and a bigger Cam and such you could sell the LS6 since there is always a demand for them. If you have the money though it wouldn't hurt to get the 92mm. If I could afford it im sure I would.

Yes its worth it. I have a ported 92mm fast and ptm 92mm tb matched with a Futral Motorsports cam putting out 424rwhp through an auto on stock heads
