I vote for leave 'em. The money spent on headers is totally worth the price. The money for a new set of headers over an old set of headers isnt. What's the most you could pick up? 8hp? Ten? That's a pricy 8-10hp.

Not worth it. Plus the Mac's leave you with great ground clearance.

Leave em' alone unless you plan on modding the car futher in the future (H/C/I). Thats when you'll want true long tubes.

honestly IMO Mac Mids suck... they are better than stock, but the coating is crap and well, they are MID-Length headers so... I live right down the street from Macs factory. Visited it once back in the day. Wasn't too impressed with quality or professionalism either.

Don't get in a hurry... unless you have the money and ready for upgrades. There's nothing wrong with keeping them on there. Your just not getting the performance other headers are capable of...

if i were you, i would get rid of the macs and pick up a set of TSP 1 7/8 headers. I think its priced almost close to the pacesetters.

You'll only see 5 or so hp more w/ LT's...not worth the swap imo...put the money elsewhere. Macs make good power. If you go to a more extreme setup then I would say it would be worth it.
