Arrow Swapping V6 with LS engine.. Thoughts?

I want to place an LS engine in my 89' Camaro, it has the 2.8L V6.. I was looking at all LS engines including the LS3 Gen IV... This is my first car project and after seeing vids of late model camaro's with LS3 engines changed my thoughts towards the LS motor rather then the the small block 383 stroker which i had in mind at first.

Any thoughts?

It would be a great swap, check out the forum here on conversions. I'm sure it's been done plenty of times in 3rd gen Camaros.

As with any motor swap into a different gen car. Lots of work but you will have a one of a kind sleeper when youre done. Good luck. I would love to see that happen!

Actually its one of the easiest swaps possible because so much of the stuff interchanges and fits the 3rd gen without requiring a custom piece

Read the sticky on TGO regarding LSx swaps, it covers the basics you are looking at here. The LTx/LSx forum covers the more specific problems you may run into with the swap

that'll be nice.

Sweet looking Gen and a badass engine to go in it.

I hope you create a build/swap thread.
