rasp help!!
rasp help!! my set up is hooker catback.mac mids with a ory and i welded in 2 highflow magnaflow cats...
the rasp at 2000 to 2800 is just ugly.otherwise the car sounds 100 percent awsum to me.... what can i do to get this reduced????

search the forums for people that have done the flowmaster merge. that will help a lot and it will allow you to increase the diameter of your i-pipe. depending on your set up i would do a 3.5" i-pipe. it will have to be custom done by an exhaust shop but should not be very expensive at all. i am about to do this as well. except i am going with a 4" i-pipe and 4" mufflex cat back. bigger diameter pipe will mean a deeper exhaust note.

The merge on the y-pipe can also create rasp as that is where the 2 pipes go into 1. A high quality merge like the flowmaster merge can reduce rasp significantly, tho not completely. It did for me!

no it wont hurt performance.... bullets are straight through design. Ive had a bullet on a hooker setup and it smoothed the sound out quite a bit. I recommend a 12 or 18in bullet in I pipe and rasp solved.
Listen to what those two said both of them espeically I know torchd has just about had every kinda exhaust setup u can think of. So you need to listen to them.

I'm glad I finally have a setup i'm happy with Well if an gmmg you can complain. I still need to get some idle clips of my car and like a cruise by or something. Have you still considered the X-pipe setup with bassani pipes or you just done with it? To me it's more deeper with the pipes and X-pipe then it orginally sounded though.

yes I think you need to get better vids of your set up ASAP
