Default What Size Injectors Recommended for FAST 90 (or 92)

Hey guys,

I'm looking into getting a FAST 90 or 92mm intake.. just wondering what size injectors should be run with this for a H/C, N/A LS1. I have 30lb red top injectors (or so I've been told) .. should I go bigger?

Also is it alright to have a Nick Williams 92MM TB and a FAST 90MM intake? Do I need to modify anything to fit a fast intake?

Thanks

hey brian, hows the build coming?

most importantly you will be running a torquer v3...and will be looking at what...430+ rwhp?

i would say at LEAST 36lb if not 42 lb. i trust you have a good tuner?

IIRC you are staying all motor.. I believe 42s would be a bit overkill. I have been told you can have too much injector.

We should all go with stage 3 ported heads as well.. 1 more stage is always better, right?

We used the SVO 30lb/hr injectors with our old H/C/I/E 346 with no issue. The LS1's fuel pressure will make more like 34lb/hr injectors at the rail. You should be fine unless you intend to use a dry nitrous shot on top of the heads and cam... Then you would want the 42s for the extra fuel on the jug... Ultimately, your tuner should tell you which size injector you need for safe and consistent AFR...

Thank you everyone. Brian, I replied to your PM. I think I'm going to keep my 30lb'ers for now and see how it runs when the car goes back together. Unless you really want them (and depending how much you want them for ) Maybe I could just sell you them now and buy 36'ers before the motor goes together
