So are the fans coming on now or not?

Its making the gurgling sounds b/c the coolant is hot as **** and the pressure is really high b/c of it.

Coolant doesn't gurgle when it gets hot, coolant with air in the system causes gurgling. Your coolant can get to red line and 260 degrees and it won't make a sound or boil over.....as long as the system is tight and sealed.

You should go buy a new radiator cap, bleed all the air out, top it off and go for a ride.

I think your cap is old and its slowly, quietly pissing coolant out while you drive, then when it cools its sucking air into the system.

Get a new its $3.00 for a Stant with a pressure relief valve on it, if that desn't fix it then start looking deeper.

Air is getting in, thats the problem. You might have a fan issue too, but bad fans don't allow air into the system.

It could also be a tiny leak in a water pump gasket or the water pump itself that is pissing coolant and then sucking air in when it cools down.

Bro...if coolant is pouring out of your water pump....then YES....its bad. They don't stop pumping coolant but they start to leak through the weep hole. The seal goes bad, but it still pumps coolant just the same. What that does is....when you start to warm up the engine it will start to **** coolant out of the weep hole. That makes room for air to enter the system as soon as you shut the enine down and it starts to cool down. Then air gets sucked in. This air allows the boiling point of the coolant to decrease alot......so you over heat fast.

If you're positive the coolant is coming out of the weep hole....change the water pump.
