QTP LT's or kooks LT's
need a new set of headers for the build cuz mac mids will not cut it. at first i wanted kooks cuz they said they are the best header out there for ls1's but i am thinking about qtp's they seem like a good header from what i have read on the sight so what do you guys think what shoudl i buy kooks are really pricey imo. and trying to keep cost down. are there any fitments issues with either of these headers??

Installed QTPs on my camaro. Didnt have and fitment issues and they look real good. The collectors were welded good with no light showing through any spot when I looked inside to see if I could anywhere where it would leak.

i'm pretty sure that KOOKS owns QTP (dont quote me on that), they are the same quality, just a different header. i love my QTP's. after i got my 3" fitted band clamps on i never had a leak again! it is quite loud though, except during idle on stock cam...almost stock sounding...till you hit the gas!!!!!!

I love my Kooks headers. Fitment is perfect and they gave me a lot of power. Another reason I went with Kooks is from what I've noticed at least, every ls1 I've heard that has Kooks headers has this distinct sound that I really like. Makes it sound a little more exotic.

I'm having Kook's installed on my car by Thunder Racing at the end of the month and will be happy to take pics of the piece of **** QTP's that are coming off. I have terrible exhaust leaks at the merge on both sides.
