I run a 3" Y pipe with a flowmaster merge and a magna flow muffler and 3" tails, I love how it sounds! Get compliments all the time. My second vote would be the same set up with a gmmg. One of these days I'll find one to buy

Mine is sitting behind a set of true full length SLP LTs, SLP HF CATs(gutted) & SLP Y-Pipe . I love how she sounds at WOT!! Even at idle she has a nice loud roumble.

I had some kids (16-19 years old) last week sit'n next to me in street traffic. They looked as I passed as well as a yellow C5 that sounded like it had a Borla & a brand new red Camaro(no plates yet). .... I was the only one of the 3 that they tried getting the attention of to compliment! Ands that's with the paint pealing on my Ram Air hood!! lol! .... I can think the world of my car but if if I'm getting instant gratification over a Vette and a new Camaro,... I have the right car. I'm pretty sure the exhaust note helped! lol

Seriously? You left Borla out of the poll? *shakes head* I love my Borla. Very aggressive sound, does not drone at ALL (seriously, it's whisper quiet when I'm not on the gas hard), and I can change the plates out. I recently switched from the wide open plate to the smallest one without completely blocking it off, didn't make that much of a difference but did cut out some of the raspyness.

Oh almost forgot, as much as I love the whole system I hate hate hate the tips. Don't really look good and are impossible to keep clean.

^^^^^ borla tips are DUMB! I hate them too! Especially the shape.

I have BorlaMouth...and I'm not going to change it. I LOVE the sound of the Borla but without the rasp. The XR-1 muffler is great. Deep around town, as loud as LM2 at wot and no rasp...it's great!

True duals. To me, too many of the single-pipe systems just have that boat motor "blublublublublub" at idle and low rpms.

Thats true. Alot of catback only systems for the ls1 seems to have that idle.

Custom TD's with a H pipe and not dumped. Preffered out the back but mine come out the side. Anything other then a TSP x-pipe setup. I had one for about a day. There really isn't any y-pipe set ups I like but I have very high standards as far as taste and style go. Takes alot for me to like most things.

I have a GMMG with an ORY and Pacesetter LT's and I really like the way it sounds. That being said I voted 'Other'. My buddy has a 226 cam-only SS with Pacesetters, ORY, and a LM1 that he pulled the resonator out of and replaced with a 3" stainless Sweet Thunder muffler and it's the best exhaust I've ever heard on one of our cars. We were going to trade but his is already fitted to his CME and he didn't want to bother with it again, (I don't blame him lol). I'm gonna sell the GMMG when I have the cash to copy his set up.

Don't hear that too often...selling GMMG. I honestly like the way my borlamouth sounds better than my brothers GMMG.

I reallllllly do like it and I'd vote it as the best if I hadn't heard my buddy's car. It's perfect to me. Anything over 1800rpm's and I feel it loudly in the car. His car is louder outside than mine and SO much quiter inside.
