Default How many o2 extentions do I need??

Ok, I think everyone on here has me convinced to go LT!! I don't want to BUT you guys are very convincing and persuasive. SO, I will be running cats in this system so will I need 2 o2 extentions or will all 4 o2 sensors need the extention. Oh, and just to let everyone know the LT's i decided on are the Pacesetter ARMOR coated, ceramic coated LT's with 3" collectors. So I will be sending the Edelbrock Shortys back for the exchange.

depends. for the front 2 am pretty sure you will need extensions. but for the rears you can place the cats where they can reach stock location. id get the whole thing installed then check if you need extensions for the rears since it is no harm to run no extensions for the rears.

But if the shop fires it up without the o2 sensors in the rear hooked up won't it trip my computer and mess something up

Your going to need 2 18" ones for the front o2's I got mine from Texas-Speed. I dont know of any aftermarket ypipes that have rear o2 provisions. Most either leave them unpluged or get the o2 sims so you dont get a check engine light. The rear o2 are only there to make sure that the cats are doing there job...not really need at all. The code can be tuned out of the pcm with HP tuners to.

If you get a custom tune and have the tuner tune the rear o2s out you should have problem passing an inspection.
